Provenance

The chronology of ownership, custody, or location of an artwork or artifact.

Patina

The natural aging and wear that gives antiques their authentic appearance and character.

Reproduction

A copy of an original antique, often made much later than the original period.

Estate Sale

A sale of personal property, typically after someone has passed away or is downsizing.

Appraisal

A professional assessment of an item's value, condition, and authenticity.

Maker's Mark

A signature, stamp, or label that identifies the manufacturer or craftsperson.

Restoration

The process of returning an antique to its original condition through repair or refinishing.
